Ellis & Liberty Island

I think this was my favorite part of our 2 week trip in New Jersey! I really enjoyed teaching the kids about some of the history of Ellis Island - and the Statue of Liberty is just always cool! Ok, if you know me, you know that I can walk out of my house walk about 50 feet, turn in a circle and be totally and completely lost! So for me to find our way to the Statue of Liberty was pretty much a miracle! We got there, got our tickets and got on the ferry! We spent about 2 hours on Ellis Island just walking around and talking about everything! I love how curious kids are!
