Pond

On our way to the castle we stopped at a pond.  I'm not sure exactly what to call it - it was a spring that started at the base of the Alps and flowed into a big river that goes through Torsten's town.  I can't remember the name of any of it!  But it was pretty cool!
The water was crystal clear!  It looked beautiful!  In the center of the pond the water goes 700 meters deep! (for all those that are measurementally challenged like me that is 2300 feet!) There are also several cave-like things that go miles and miles underground!

 You can kind of tell how clear the water was!

And the color was breathtaking! (trying not to use the same words over and over)

 I think the kids liked hiking the most.

We haven't done any good hiking since we left New Jersey.
